Run for the highlands, run for the highlands... the ladies will soon be in town

Aye foreign streets too... there is an old affinity between the Scots and the Irish, we make good drinking buddies.

Aye you'll be safe up in the Highlands... as the old Kerrowdown will be down with the Lowland folk and across the Irish sea.

If you don't take all the ladies with you, I'll be happy to babysit the rest

Aye they'll all be travelling to Edinburgh with me, but a only a select few will make it to the hand carry on (1 bag) flight to Dublin. They are already squabbling amongst themselves for places.

I would need to see you harem management credentials, as many folk consider it to be an easy show to run and have "crashed and burned" at the very outset.

Thanks, it's been years since I was last there, but I'm hoping to get some moody B&W images while I'm there.

That is... if I can get out of the fabulous drinking establishments that they have there.

They set a trap in the pubs you visit then, you walk thru the door and takes you a couple of hours to find the way out again. I have been to pubs like that.

And that's just to pour the Guinness... which explains the half poured glasses waiting to be topped up when you order, as it just takes so long to settle.

You just have to have a few drams while you wait.

Just a tad chilly and a little hazy is all, but we still call it Summer.
Now that looks so much more like summer. Wide and open with near clear skies. Here end of autumn and it has dropped to 29C with a light south easter, now that's winter coming on. Oh and the humidity is somewhere below 100%.

While you seem to have the most fun shooting random people on the street, it is your landscape photos that really stand out.
So I'm shooting the wrong stuff then...
