Canada Goose on the Nest, K5 with 55-300/Tamron 1.4TC · **2 Likes**

After practicing at home I finally took my camera set up as CSA recommended with the 55-300mm lens and the Tamron 1.4TC out into the field, so to speak. It was an overcast day with spats of rain. The birds were not as cooperative as I had hoped but I am pleased with this goose on the nest for a first field attempt. I used the onboard flash and I think it helped. I will be looking into the flash extenders that had been recommended to me.
