Nice set of shots! Love the composition of the first. Never seen these birds before, they seem colorful in many ways and probably fun to photograph. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, never seen these before... is the upper bill really serrated or is it just coloured that way?

yes they have serrated bills.

Those serrated bills help them in the cutting open of fruit and nuts, they are primarily arboreal fruit-eaters.

here is a crop of one image where we see the birds ripping of parts of the bark of a tree possibly there are some insects there that they want.
