More backyard birding
Lens: Pentax 55-300 + 1.4TC Camera: K3

Caught this pretty little female Mountain Bluebird, coming in to take a bath.

Couple of other birds, little nuthatch flying towards me was pretty neat! Last one is a House Finch.

Nice captures! The nuthatch is actually a Mountain Chickadee (Poecile gambeli).

Sorry about that, my error. I had been photographing nuthatches just before this. Thanks for the correction!

Susan, thanks so much! The female is much more drab in color than the male; but still a very beautiful little bird. I'm always happy to see them return in the Spring!
