A future Pentaxian in the works.
Posted By: Fritz, 07-14-2008, 11:04 AM

My youngest seems to have an interest in photography. So I asked him the other day if he would like to try out daddy's camera. Of course the answer was yes! So I handed him the K100d, and I picked up my ME-Super and we went out to see what we could shoot. The short story is we had a lot of fun, and I think he is hooked! Here are a few snaps I grabbed of my future Pentaxian in the making. Shot with my ME-Super, M 50mm f1.4 on Kodak BW400CN.

And one more just because I think he is as cute as a bug.

If you have shots of your future Pentaxian, feel free to post them up!

teehee... great stuff! You'll have to keep him interested now
I don't think I'll have too much trouble with that. He does genuinely enjoy it.

That first photo is so incredible. It should definitely be the next advert for Pentax.
My thoughts when I saw that first shot. Maybe Pentax needs a new advertising angle!

Definitely a future pentaxian
I've got him using his mothers N*kon PS. But I feel bad making him use that (I hate that camera). His own Pentax may be in order soon.

Like father like son Very cool !!! Hopefully he'll get the bug just like his pop did, and you two can have lots of good times
together.
By the sound of all the "clicks" I'd say he has the bug.

Those are two SUPER shots of your son! So full of life, and good bokeh.

LOL, is that not what we want: portrait full of life and good bokeh? LMAO
Thank you Nesster!

If they're HIS compositions he's well on his way Fred.
Thanks JCSullivan. I will admit to cropping the second shot a little to remove some sky. But the others are all his. Hey, everyone needs a little help now and then right?
