That 2 of the best bird pictures I've taken this year happened to be of a barn swallow's backside... lol.

I'd better watch it or I might end up being called the Kerrowdown of birds (except for having the image quality to go with the title).

These Swallows have nice colouring to their feathers. Well done.

It was actually the same swallow. It just kept moving between 4 or 5 different spots. It's a shame the AF noise spooked it when it was sitting on the opposite side, facing me. I learned my lesson and turned off AF for the rest of my shots.

The backside is better than no side. You sure captured the colors of his feathers.
