Music and one portrait
Lens: FA 77/1.8 Ltd Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Bavaria ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F2.5

A few days ago I listened traditional Bavarian music, enjoyed her play at the harp and had the occasion for this portrait:

No staging, no directing, just observing, compose and wait.

It was the same day also for this portrait.

You have a gift for capturing personal portraits, that is both engaging and of great interest. I enjoy your work. Please continue posting your photographs.

Thanks! Staged portraits can be great, but somehow I prefer portraits which are not staged as these are generally not pretentious and open up a better view of the person.

I agree. Candid portraits reveal more of the real person...at ease , acting naturally.
