A break from photographing roses
Lens: D-FA 24 - 70 Camera: K1
Posted By: Murra54, 05-19-2016, 11:26 PM

Len is a man with a great sense of the absurd, likes to laugh. He is musician. Just thought these would make a change from photographing roses and birds.
From an ongoing series ( We go back) of natural light portraits I am taking of people I have known for a long time.

Thank You, Antonio. I enjoy doing these sessions. I give myself 5 minutes to set up and then 30 minutes - max - to take the photographs, what I get is it. Really good fun and also a good way to get you thinking about how you make an image.

Very good photographs Murra54. The lighting is A1. Well taken.

I certainly like the subdued lighting in these shots as it adds a little drama.

Thank you, I find that doing the photographs this way makes you think on your feet. The K1 is absolutely brilliant, I love the viewfinder display.

Thanks Eagle M, I feel that strong sidelighting gives an image lift and substance.
