Ta check out my surf and seascape site other surf photographers use Nikon and Canon but I think my Pentax K3 is great for surf. Although it would have been better if the K1 was better than 4fps for action shots

Underwater housing for the K3

Sorry re long delay but been in recovery from surf accident (dangers of the water surf photography) is the my surf photography rig with the Pentax K3 in a custom water housing built by Dave Kelly Newcastle Australia mobile 0432304339 27 Hanbury St Mayfield Newcastle Australia Dave Kelly Seaview Photo. Tech/Argonautica Media.

The Kelly Housing's are from the guru with a great solid build with custom manual knobs for speed, F stops and iso etc... fiberglass body and perplex ports: I have one for a round port for the fish eye lens (Pentax 10-17mm) and one for a mid range flat port for (Pentax 18-55mm). I stick a Go-Pro and light on top also...

Taking shots in the surf and underwater is so specialised allowing for water drops, refraction, light etc meaning your keeper rate can be very low, but so bloody addictive when you get a few...

Cheers Chris
