Something different............
Lens: 25mm f:1.4 TV lens Camera: Q 7 Photo Location: Alberta, Camada ISO: 200
Posted By: Heinrich Lohmann, 05-26-2016, 05:29 PM

........with a $ 25.00 lens In 35 mm terms this is a 115mm F1.4 lens. this image was taken with a 5 mm close up ring added and at f: 2.8

This one I took with a 35 mm Fujian f:1.7 TV lens (35 mm terms: 160mm f:1.7) I paid $ 38.00 for this one. This image also taken at f:2.8. Stopped down to 5.6-8 its razor sharp but I wanted this image soft.

Beautiful photos both ! The fly is like made of steel. The flower has this very cold background boke. I think both pics give a feeling off being out off space. Nice!

I am truly amazed. Great shots and very interesting to see what those lenses can do.

Darn near swatted the fly and broke my computer screen. The columbine is just lovely. Well done as always Heinrich.

Thank you, they won't replace my 100mm 2.8 WR anytime soon but are fun to play around with on the Q7.

I really like the second shot. I think the colors and softness work well.

Nice flower, but fly is always fly - not a beautiful creature.
