Sometimes it's Nice...

...just to take pictures of flowers...

If you have chives in your vegetable garden and they survive the winter they will grow into luscious purple globes. You can still use the chives for cooking, but I wouldn't eat the flower. Honey bees have been enjoying their plumage, and I wonder what their "chive honey" will taste like (we do not keep bees).

The potted lavender is already producing flowers and smells like heaven.

The daisies sometimes sleep late into the morning even when I spray them down with a cold shower.

Quite a departure for you from the street scenes. I enjoyed the series and can smell the lavender from here.

Thanks! Yes, the lavender is lovely. I'm hoping to keep everything alive in the midst of this scorching heat we are experiencing in the east.

Thank you! Lavender is purported to be a natural bug repellant, so we have placed the pots close to where we like to sit/eat/entertain guests (we do not eat the guests, only entertain them).

nice shots,I really like the third one, whereas the two first photos could be better composed by trying to consider the simplicity I think.

Agreed. The composition of those two is rubbish.
