A Real Man Hinge
Posted By: Kerrowdown, 05-29-2016, 01:23 AM

The level of detail available with this camera is amazing, but I guess I'm easy pleased... just look at the subject matter.

That some razor sharp detail, but yup the subject certainly isn't awe-inspiring

Aye you need to see the original... that's my “Femme Fatale” (SMC Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro) for you.

If that hinge is yours, then you must be the real man! Don't lift the gate up or you'll be even more unhinged than usual!

I dunno how you and eaglem find so many things to photograph. I'm flamin' jealous!

I can go out with my camera all day and not take a single photo as I can't see anything to take a pic of.

Your looking, but not seeing... I missed many things like this, until I got my “Femme Fatale” (SMC Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro) now they always seems to be something.

Yes, you are probably right about looking but not seeing. Lens? I knew that was my problem! I'd better keep an eye out for that one to add to my collection of unused lenses. I have an SMC Pentax A 50mm f2 (non macro) that doesn't get used and an FA 100mm f2.8 Macro which has very rarely been used apart from when I first bought it. It hasn't been used for the past couple of years.

Eaglem gets a lot of his insects in his back yard but I can never find any in mine. No, I don't live in a desert but, equally, I'm no gardener.

I like to think of it being a "manly" sort of hinge.
