It's always a good show but the weather forecast was calling for sever thunder storms and I think that kept a couple aircraft from coming, a P-38 and ME-109 were no shows. They did have a couple F-4U's P-51's a B-25 B-17 and B-29 were there, it got to hot and humid so we left before they started flying.

great photo's!

Seeing a B17 in the flesh is on my bucket list.

Unfortunately we don't have as many exciting warbirds here in Australia compared to the northern hemisphere

I'd love to see one, too. There's a B-24 being restored outside Melbourne.

They were giving rides in the B-17, $425 for about a half hour. Next year I think I'm going to do it, not sure how much longer they will be flying and I would love to get a picture through the ball turret. I think the K-1 and FA31 would be good for that.

I believe that B24 is being restored in Werribee.

The RAAF base in Point Cook is restoring a Dehavilland Mosquito aswell. Not sure whether its being restored back to flying condition however.

Yeah, I've driven past the place where they're doing it. If I happen to do it when it's open to the public I'll drop in, take some pics and donate to the cause.

Unusual to see that pattern of muzzle brake on the M4 tank, or a muzzle brake at all on the 75mm gun.

The DeHavilland Mosquito is a rare treat.

Thanks for sharing.
