We were out and about in Sherwood Forest and noticed this beautiful cluster. No way I could pass it up. I downsized, cropped, added some brightness with a little bit of sharpening. Enjoy and thank you very much for viewing.

Rgds,

Antonio

What the real Sherwood Forest of Robin Hood fame and just how were his band of merry men?

kd, sorry to disappoint you RH was a myth.

William Wallace, Rob Roy McGregor, Robert the Bruce were all real characters. I don't think the Poms had any real heroes.

Many thanks to everyone for the great comments. Let's not forget "The Sheriff of Nottingham, Friar Tuck and of course, "Lady Marion." Also the very talented British Actor, Richard Greene who played Robin Hood in the 1950s television series.
