Nicely posed--got to love the dandelion seeds stuck in its fur. I'm trying to guess the sex--a youngish male, to my eyes, though the compression of the long lens might be distorting the usual "tells."

That's a great shot. I've seen a bear once in my life in the wild. This image is so much more peaceful than seeing a full grown male running flat out across the road that I was driving on.

Great shot. The last two black bears that I have come across, took one look at me and all I got was shots of their back ends as they headed into the bush.
