Wanted to try out a Super-Tak 35/3.5 that I recently bought. It came with a hood for a 28/3.5, which seems to work reasonably well (and also seems to be the way a lot of these lenses are sold). I don’t know if there is anything special about these photos, but one difference for me is that I didn’t do any adjustments to the colors, but just used the default settings out of Faststone which doesn't have any user controlled presets. I also don’t usually crop 1:1, but that seemed to work best for these two photos.
I tried to time my photo taking with mostly overhead sun to avoid shadows, but I wonder if I should try again on this second shot at a different time of day.
