Walk-About Niagara Falls, Ontario

Some parts of Niagara Falls are not seen by most tourists.

Taken through a window. I love the ghostly effect of the reflections to the world behind me. Went back the next day and the windows were covered with new plywood.

Diner

Barred and Boarded

Barber Shop - through the window

Oddly shaped

Abandoned Police Station

Old Factory

Five minutes away overlooking the Niagara River, A Buddha Temple!

Ontario Power Plant

One more...

There are too many abandoned buildings like that. Good for photography, bad for residents. TFS.

I'm always location scouting for such places as these for both work and pleasure uses, a great series of images.

Especially when I don't have join the reverse engineering version of the "escape committee" to get in, either by tunnelling or going over the wire due to security issues.

Quite a contrast to what the tourists see. Sad to see these wonderful old buildings slowly fade away. Enjoyed the series Tess.
