Abstract In the front garden today

Went out to practice photographing birds but guess they had more sense than I did and were staying out of the sun. This guy was out though. Please be kind. I have never attempted to photograph insects before, except tomato hornworms, and these were hand held.

Ive used the da 55-300 for these types of shots. Not really a macro lens but if you can nail the focus and have good lighting then it is pretty decent. Keep shooting.
