Tomato Hornworm
Lens: pentax 100mm macro f/4 Camera: Pentax K5
Posted By: chibae, 06-11-2016, 12:47 PM

Since I had mentioned Tomato Hornworms, here is one done with my older 100mm f/4 macro lens. Handheld at dusk. It took an iso of 3200. This picture was taken within a week of getting my "new to me" K5 and it hadn't been set up yet. When I spotted the critter I went back to the house and grabbed the camera and ran.

Many thanks,

Thank you

My error, it's a Tobacco Hornworm, Mancuda sexta. A caterpillar of a sphinx moth. I always get them confused.
