Calm morning on Malcolm Island
Lens: Sigma 8-16mm Camera: Pentax K5 ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/50s Aperture: F11

Early morning on Malcolm Island, BC. No wind, the waters calm and the sunrise id coming to an end.

Nice shot.
My brother missed out on purchasing a copy of this lens last year unfortunately.

This is a great lens for a crop Pentax camera. I am continually amazed at how well controlled the CA is and the quality of the images it produces.

I like seeing the rocks under the water in the foreground.

Wow! That Sigma 8-16 really did a great job in your capable hands! I love the clarity in the foreground water, and the soft lighting extending out, drawing your eye thru the photo! Very well done!

Outstanding. I especially like the warmth of the sky and water; almost an antique feel, and although dramatic it's in more of a soft way. I find too many scenes like this are ruined by excessive darkness and blue tones, so I think this one stands out as being much better.

Thank you csa. The Sigma 8-16mm lens is a great lens I highly recommend it.
