This is cross-posted in other forums; but I'm so impressed with the sharpness of a handheld 500mm lens, that I am buying the lens, that was on loan to me from a great member here.

It is hard to get shots this nice with a mirror lens.

Great work with the mirror lens, especially the first one. I tried one once and just couldn't get the hang of it, but I see it's definitely got potential in more capable hands like yours.
