Port of Gerakas
Posted By: takis63, 06-13-2016, 01:08 PM

On Sunday i headed on a early morning trip to port of Gerakas, a beautiful place that is like a small fjiord.

The port offers protection from the some times unpredictable weather of the Aegean Sea and many boats anchor there. It is also a resting place for migratory birds.

This time the weather was very nice, the waters were very clear and still and i had the opportunity to take some pictures.

Unfortunately i had forgotten to charge the battery of the K3II but luckily i had the K50 on hand and it saved the day.

Thanks for watching

Takis

That third shot is exceptional for lighting, colour and detail.

Thanks. About the first one i had to lie flat on the pier to get that angle, but it was worth it! The K50 is a great camera!
