Here's what I've been up to
Camera: K-3
Posted By: slowpez, 06-15-2016, 08:15 AM

Spending some time in the Virginia Allegheny Mountains. Lovely weather, hot during the day and cool at night. Haven't really done a whole lot with photos, seem to not been in the mood but here are a few from the area. We will call this trip finished next week so will try to catch up on the forums then. At least we have internet although no phone service. Verizon let us down.

Awesome Susan, I'm glad Humpback Bridge has it's name on it, I was asking myself "what the heck kind of distortion is that?"

Excellent job, Susan!
I've just returned from a 5 day stay in Virginia ... but only meetings at the UVA and hardly any sightseeing.
Your shots make it very clear:I have to go back!

Susan, I really like your series! The first one is my favorite! That covered bridge is very unique!

Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful area, with us.

Glad to see you're finding manageable light--we've been alternating between bluebird skies and "deluge" with not much in between here in Tennessee. Very much like the fiddlehead fern--one of your best "nature" shots, I think, the B/W being an especially good option.

Thanks everyone for all the kind comments. We are having a wonderful time but CreationBear's weather caught up with us today and it has been pouring all day. You have to love mountain weather. We are always amazed at how green and beautiful the mountains are here. If you haven't been, you should try to make the trip.
