That's great! It must be wonderful to live so close to wonderful experiences like this. I loved Uganda. We had great, memorable experiences with chimpanzees too. What a trip! Thanks for commenting.

Not at all. The habituated gorilla families are very used to seeing people and only one group of 8 plus about 2 park rangers are allowed for one hour a day. People have to stay a certain distance from the gorillas. (Of course, the gorillas will approach you but it's up to you to slowly back away from them.) The Silverback was very near this little guy too so I'm sure he'd take care of the situation if he felt threatened.
