I find the hilltops rather unsettling, but it's a great concept nicely captured.

Thank you, given them a quick wee tweak as you suggested.

The flowers do stand out well against the background.

Very pleasing to look at!

Taken with "Femme Fatale"? Or "Special Lady"?

I like it, agree about the hilltops.

Is this the A 50 F2 lens?

Hypnotic, and one of your best, I think, you've shared on PF--I'm really gobsmacked by the exposure fore-and-aft...great light, no doubt, but also a steady hand on the tiller.

Much better. Now it is just a little "Scotch Mist" instead of those bands. I like it. Nice fix.

Aye... their colouration certainly helps to achieve that.

My "Femme Fatale" pleads guilty in this instance, only for no other reason that she was on the camera at the time.

In hindsight, wonderful thing that it is, my "Special Lady" would perhaps have been the better choice, for better bokeh wide open on the background hills.

No, unlike others here on the forum I only own two 50mm.

My "Special Lady” (SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.2) and my “Femme Fatale” (SMC Pentax-A 50mm F2.8 Macro), in this case it was the later I used.

I'm being humbled here, at least your suggesting I'm still improving... perhaps with age like a fine wine.

A fast shutter speed of 1/4000s helps too.
