I've got a Sigma 150-500 K mount, which I use for drag racing and 'road course' ice racing photography, among other things. It's not a fast lens (F 5-6.3), but outdoors, in days with sun, it's quite good at stopping action at 1600 ISO even at F 11. Night shots, I wouldn't use this Sigma.
I think it would hard to beat your fast Tamron 70-200 @ F 2.8 at night. You have some great poor light photos in this series.
