Nice shots, I really like the mood you captured in the first shot of #4 post. Almost surreal looking, like it came out of the old computer game Myst.

Nice series! In my opinion, the first shot posted is great, as is the first shot in post #4. Those are the two which most catch my eye.

Nice images of a creapy place. That concrete peir looks like something from a sci-fi movie set. I guess I am the only one that thinks this way.

Yup I used ND, ND8 + ND4 + CPL
Just fantastic shots. Now I have to ask, what are these ND, ND8=ND4=CPL?????

as per wikipedia :Neutral density filter - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In photography and optics, a neutral density filter or ND filter is a "grey" filter. An ideal neutral density filter reduces light of all wavelengths or colors equally. The purpose of standard photographic neutral density filters is to allow the photographer greater flexibility to change the aperture or exposure time, allowing for more control, particularly in extreme circumstances.

For an ND filter with optical density d the amount of optical power transmitted through the filter is given by:

Fractional Transmittance = 10-d

-> ND8 = 3 stops
ND4 = 2 stop
CPL = 1 stop

if you combine ND8 + ND4 + CPL = ND13 : 6 stops

I used this ND Filters to reduce light passing the lens and also to avoid harsh light and make a slow shutter sometimes.

Hope this helps, correct me if I'm wrong guys.

Thanks,
Abet
