Well folks I finally got a chance to get some good panos done.. I tried at the beach but the waves made it pretty tough... so here are two from my last camp trip..

spectacular scenery there Kim I love that 2nd shot. Those are definately alot bigger then our foothills

Spectacular, Kim! They are both excellent. Makes me want to hop on a bike and tour the Rockies! (Maybe next year.

Good panos Kim, I have to agree with you about the second one. Great play of light and shadow. A 'wallhanger' for sure

NaCl(a photographic 'wallhanger' should not be confused with a pottery 'wallbanger' )H2O

Thanks Gary... Pano's really are not that hard.... you take a bunch of shots.. plug them into a good program (I use Autostitch) do a bit of processing and wallah!! you have a pano..

Remember... you dont have to do a pano of something big and massive... you can do a pano of anything you need a bigger pic of.. or something that you want a close up of but maybe cant get close enough with the current lens so you chunk it out and stitch it together..

Thanks Timbo.. The full versions are pretty neat but even they are scaled down to only 1mb. Glad you enjoyed them..

Thanks so much Tom... These peaks range from 9,000 - 9,600 in elevation. The alpine peaks I am used to in Colorado range from 12,000 - 14,0000... Now those a peaks..

One of these days I will get back there to take some real pics fo them!!

Thanks and your Welcome Jeff!! Im so glad you enjoyed them.. If you decide to come this way on a bike tour (that would be an awesome way to see the country).. just let me know and I can get you a couple different places worth seeing..

Thanks Salty.. Im glad you like them. I am very anxiouse to get the bottom one printed and hopefully ready for a show I am in the first part of August. I dont know about the pottery wallbanger... but I do like liquid 'wallbanger' I believed they are names after some guy name Harvey.. lol ..

Magnificant Kim. They're so sharp and detailed. I'm leaning towards the first one but the colours in the second are wonderful. Great work!
