Lemurs & the DA 55-300

As landscape photography is a real struggle here in North Wales at the moment I've just processed a few more shots taken during a visit to a "Wildlife Park" in the Lake District, Cumbria - the lemurs roam freely around the park & make for a fascinating visit !!

For any Pentax users all shots taken with the new DA 55-300

Good stuff. They look like cute little buggers but at the same time they look like they might scratch your face off.....

The place is very unusual for a zoo as there are a couple of areas where animals wander around freely (wallabies, lemurs, kangaroos, ostriches & several species of flamingo/bird life) - fortunately not the lions !!

The Lemurs are great characters, massive sun-worshippers & are very gentle, at least with humans - the keepers organise sessions for the kids (large & small) to hand-feed them.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day out & if anyone is ever around the Lake District in Cumbria the South Lakes Wild Animal Park gets my recommendation !!
