Misty morning on the Swartkops River · **3 Likes**

I love B&W and simplicity but it is not always easy. The problem is that our eyes have been so conditioned to see color, that we miss the beauty of B&W. This photo is a 125% crop and it still gave me that feeling of vast open space. Hope you like it.

I like it a lot. Beautifully done. My eyes are so bad but is the horizon just a tad off? Maybe leaning a bit to the left. The widening of the dark line might be fooling me. No matter though, it is gorgeous.

Thanks slowpez. That horizon was not an easy one to get level as the river does have a few channels flowing into it and the river bank widening at the left.
