Some nightscapes from a recent night out under the stars

These are relatively short exposures, all about 30-40 secs. Bit i am wondering how long can i shoot with the Sigma 10-20 lens and astrotracer enabled? I can definitely go past two minutes, maybe a 5 minute exposure?

Just imagine a 5 minute unguided exposure, the possibilities it opens up...

Great shots! For the astrotracer I'd say that 60 to 90 seconds would be realistic, maybe 2 minutes. But you can still stack of course

Beautiful details in the Milky Way. The sky must be very dark where you are. Really like the first one.

Love that you have given us an interesting foreground to complement the stars.

I have done 2 mins with the astrotracer and hopefully i can go a bit longer. Stacking is an interesting option, thanks for reminding me😃

Thank you! Yes the sky is really dark over here. It is considered one of the most dark places in Europe.

#1 is my favorite too!

Thank you! I wouldn't have shot it any other Way. With the wide angle lenses you've got to have an interesting foreground!!!
