Now this is a standout portrait, good and creative lighting and great exposure.

What a great shot, I love the treatment making it look aged, but in perfect condition, the photo that is.

Pose and lighting makes this photograph look very painterly...kind of like something from the old masters. Exceptional job and BTW, like the headline of this thread....paying homage to your daughter's titles.

I've really been playing with the painterly thing for a while now. I'm really drawn to that Rembrandt style of lighting and how to get that to translate on to a photo. Luckily I have one or two windows in my house that provide pretty consistent results. The hard part is getting the kids to make the right expression without running away!
