I lack the keen eye, reflexes, stamina and patience to do serious wildlife photography, but I do photograph the occasional critter. Here are some pics I grabbed at Moody Gardens in Galveston yesterday. My 11-year-old granddaughter identified these monkeys, birds and lizards for me as we walked through the Gardens' Rain Forest Pyramid, but other than the red ibis, I can't remember what they are.
All of these photos were shot with what Rupert would call my toy camera, a Panasonic LX100, and some are a bit "over cropped." I hate to admit it, but as I get older, I'm succumbing to the allure of a light, small camera that I can carry in a pouch on my belt.
