One-day Journey by Train
Lens: Super-Takumar 1:2/35 Camera: SONY ICLE-5000 Photo Location: Wuhan, China ISO: 400

The first leg of my one-day journey. Being a railfan, one of the most exciting things of getting back to China is the latest and greatest trains around. Shot these at different train stations in the city.

Geezzz, what a terrific series. These bullet trains are truly a wonder and you did a wonderful job in capturing them. The second one down I can imagine sticking a pair of wings on it and now you have a Concorde SST. Many thanks, very enjoyable.

The second leg. I personally found these Bombardier creations surprisingly well, as they have a more industrial feel. Used a Seagull (a Chinese brand, once had very good TLRs) CPL to darken the sky.

The third leg. Well, I came out today just to take trains.

We call these trains "bunnies" within the Chinese railfan community because of the appearance. These trains obviously bear a German heritage.

The final leg home. It's getting a bit dark so I opened the lens aperture a bit. The first image was shot wide-open and the latter three at f4. Still pretty good at least viewed on screen.

Great looking trains. I can see why they have a following.

Thanks for sharing all these shots in color. I've been on those trains in Germany- very fun!
