juvenile jackdaw
Lens: sigma 50 150 Camera: k5ll ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/25s Aperture: F7.1

Pat of a group of scavenging birds at a picnic spot. I'd started leaving the Sigma 50-150 2.8 at home because its a bit heavy but this has reminded me how good it actually is.

What exactly is a "jackdaw" ?? ((I mean: what family of bird is this from?))
We sure don't have them around here.

They are part of the crow family and are common across most of Europe and Asia
