Latest photoshoot - my sister wanted headshots done.

These were all with the K-3/DA* 55 and have one Cactus RF-60 in a 54" P.C. Buff PLM Umbrella (shoot through) camera right, triggered via a Cactus V6 atop the camera.

Edited in LR 4.4 (yes, 4.4 and Topaz Clarity.

First, we took advantage of the light coming from the sun setting behind her. The background was intentionally blown out - it was the style she was going for:





Then after it set we moved to a brick wall and made lighting that was a bit more dramatic.



And my personal favorite:



And this was just a fun series that I put together in a collage with the plan to get it printed on one large canvas - it was us goofing around



I wasn't going to do the shoot (because it was a last minute request and I've just been so busy lately), but she insisted. I'm glad she's a pain in the ass

It has been a struggle for me to choose the one I like the best. Finally, I have decided that the second one down is my favorite. Let me tell you why. She has a wry smile with a come hither look in her eyes. Bottom left is my favourite of the bottom six. Now that looks like someone's sister. Everyone would be happy to have a sister like that.

I like the more traditional portraits, but if she were my sister I'd make a print of the collage of the last six and hang it up. Looks like the photo shoot was a fun time.
