Yes very similar to the 3 wheel Messhersmidt (if that's how it was spelt) back in the 60's.

Hi,
Didn't it have two wheels at the front and one at the back which was the driven wheel?
Regards.

The one I saw was 2 at the back and one at the front and if you wanted to reverse you turned the wheel at 180 degrees so the engine which was attached to the front wheel was facing to the rear.

The Messerschmitt that I rode in (driven by my sister's later-to-be-ex) back in the late 50's had two wheels (steering) at the front and one (powered) at the back. It resembled a very low motorcycle with a fighter airplane canopy dropped on top of it. One got to look up at ALL other vehicles, with a very clear, scary view.

Interesting looking vehicle. Remember seeing some during visits to the UK back in the '70's and '80's. Often wondered how well such a three wheeled vehicle would corner, particularly with the 'lonely' wheel being in the front.

like the Robin Reliant which rose to fame through Mr Bean - very prone to tip over at the front - and not as cool as this vehicle

I recall those. Saw one by Madam Tussad's Museum, while waiting in line to get in, in London in 1974. What an odd vehicle, I thought.

What a cool machine indeed! I like the use of colour and monochrome too. I've seen some recent unusual contraptions (I hesitate to call them cars) to provide single seat EV transport.

Also used by Del Boy in Only Fools and Horses IIRC.
