I just took my *istDL2 and a 50mm prime out for a wander in central Oxford. I must say, focusing it manually is a lot easier than I expected, at least with a fast MF prime. I've never really attempted street photography before, but quite pleased with how these came out, for a first go.

Thanks! They do look like they woke up on the wrong side of the Atlantic don't they? Perhaps they're busking to try and work up a ticket home...

Both of these are quite heavily cropped, I think next time I'll take a longer lens, maybe my 90 or 135.

I think I'm going to enjoy learning this type of photography
