Hi
On the one day free I had in Guangzhou I took a Taxi to Shamian Island for some photo therapy. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shamian_Island ) There is a Christian church on the island and since it is a picturesque location a lot of Christian Chinese get married there. The usual routine is that for a few hours the groom and bride hire the suits and wedding gowns for the ceremony and photo session. It is a thriving industry but on closer inspection some of the gear looks a bit "seedy" and of course most of it is ill fitting. But there is a way out...

Too funny.

Hey, nice idea with the venue, but as for the rental of the wardrobes, who looks at the BACK of the bride anyway??? Nice idea though, I have to remember this little adjustment trick with the four women I live with (wife, three daughters)!

Most of the gowns and suits looked decidedly, shall we say, well worn from close up.

Cheers.
