Landscape Grand Canyon

I just got into photography with a Pentax K-50, which I received right before a road trip which included seeing the Grand Canyon this is just one of the pictures I took there. I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback, as I am completely new to photography.

I like it. The inclusion of the people gives the image a good reference to scale. While the people do provide scale I do think they are placed a little close to the edge of the frame. Perhaps turning the camera a few degrees left would help. Easy for me to say I was not there but something to keep in mind. The whole top left corner of the image seems a little less sharp than the rest, a characteristic of the lens perhaps.
Any way nice work and I would like to see some more.

I like it, but I think would be better in color. almost like not enough contrast in background to make it a great B&W shot... at least for me.
