K-3 plus stacked F 1.7x AF adapter and HD DA 1.4 TC
1/400s, 400 ISO, ƒ8.

It is possible to be too close. Taking one adapter off, would have given me more DoF, and I probably should have gone to 1000 ISO for shutter speed, but all in all, I'm not unhappy with the results.

Sitting on the porch waiting for hummers. There are lots of flower bloomingg along the porch rails. May as well get some images while waiting.







If you futz around long enough and take enough images of flowers, sooner or later the hummers turn up....

Looking good there Norm. I finally got one shot of a hummer sitting on the plant outside of the house. Usually I get them at the feeder. Today's was a rare shot.--Zapper

I see them in the morning at our Bee Balm, but it is darn hard to get a shot of them there.
