The shot that almost killed me
Lens: Pentax 28A Camera: K5 Photo Location: Glacier Park ISO: 100 Aperture: F5.6

I almost went into the lake to get this shot. My arm was black and blue from my wrist to my armpit.

Yes! Absolutely worth it. Just remember as you tumble down the cliff face ...keep shooting. :-)
Hope you weren't looking for sympathy. ?

What's a little bruising, when you bring back a beauty like this?

That is such a beautiful scene; well worth the trouble & bruising. Of course that's easy for me to say; I'm not the one bruised!

Your arm is probably gonna heal, but after this shot, whatever can you possibly do for an encore?

I have been there a few times. Of course the first thing you wonder is, "is my gear ok?". However when you get a shot like this it is all worth it.

That is a wonderful image Nelson, was it worth it? Only you know that. When I had the only REAL mishap doing stuff like this I didn't even get the shot.
