Was taking pictures of flowers when a bee landed on a near by flower.
Didn't see the aphids until I was in post!

Bees Knees!

Love the aphids around the edges, and your honesty that you didn't them notice until post. Been there!

Curious though - I have a K-S2 as well, and was researching the F 50 lens you used as there's one for sale near me. Trying to get a handle on minimum focus and view angle... do you remember if you shot that directly, or was it with a macro tube / adapter? I've got a 50-200 DA-L, but that's true 50 on an APS-C, not the 75mm that yours would be...

Thanks!!

Scott

Thanks for the kind comments!
This was shot directly. No extension tubes/tele converters involved... however, I had cropped into the image relatively heavily.
I can post the un edited version if I find it later tonight.
All the best,

Also, your 50-200 @ 50mm would look identical in terms of focal length when compared to my 50mm.......

I should clarity -

on an apsc camera, 50mm will look the same no matter what 50 mm lens you put on it.
On a full frame camera, if you put a 'made for apsc' lens on it, there will be heavy vignetting in the corners/sides. You need a lens made for full frame to work correctly on a full frame camera.

no worries if you're using apsc though!

Awesome - thanks for taking the time to dig it out.

And look at all those aphids - they're lined up all the way down the stem! Must've been one tasty flower...
