Hairy Woodpecker
Lens: DA*200 + F1.7x AF Adapter and HD DA 1.4 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: My back yard ISO: 640 Aperture: F5

K-3 and DA*200 with HD DA 1.4 and 1.7x adapter stacked

We always let this wild plant have it's place on the hill with the rest of the flowers. I just call them "rock plants" but I'm sure they have a proper name.

Today, it got a thorough examination by a local woodpecker.

I'm a sucker for shots where I don't have to leave my porch.

Wonderful photograph. Excellent colors, composition, sharpness and the bokeh is outstanding.

Way to go, sir. Many thanks.

Thanks. Shooting at nearly 500mm it's hard not to have creamy bokeh.

Nice image, with a good bird and a pleasant, creamy background. Pretty rustic-looking plant. I'm not sure what I would call it. Thanks.
