Monet anyone?

JMR

PS
Perhaps this one is a little busy, but I think these are better, and one gets the idea anyway.

PS-2

This is what the photo was supposed to look like, using a double exposure technique (or triple), which, if done right (you have to practice and take more than one photo), will create a dreamy effect or impart a light-airy quality to your photograph. Not all photos are suitable, just look at the first photo I posted which tuned the eyes! Live and learn.

JR

OK. I will try this repost of the original. NO- 1 is the original with water colour treatment; No 2 and 3 are in-camera exposures only.

I actually start to feel a bit sick if I look at that too long, thats not a crit though its a great effect, visual perception is a great thing to mess around with.

1st one is fine, neat look. Second one is like a magic eye picture, except it makes me a little dizzy.

First one is good although the grass in the foreground looks too much like a photograph still.
The second one made me feel like I was coming in for a crash landing. It's a cool look but you should make sure to post a warning for people intending to view it.

Hey Dave, I dont know about 8am I looked at it 5.15am. Headspinning!
Nicely done effect though. A little less might have been fine, as others have said.
Well done

Thanks for the comments.

I have seen some of your work, rmtagg, and I do like the photos you have shown. I only put the watercolors out as examples. I did use PP, but like like you, most of my work is done in camera and without any post processing. I find it too time consuming and it defeats the purpose of learning how to photograph properly and enjoying photography simply as an expression. I still do PP occassionally.
