this one is not technically the sky, however, the reflection on the water is.

and i kjnow the focal point in this shot is the bird... however,the sky is the birds playground.

again,, i know the city lights overpower the image, however, i really love the whispy clouds in this one..

Got home 1 week ago while the sun was setting (sort of, it never realy get dark up here untill next week), And found these stunning clouds, I curse myself for not getting a tripod yet, but that will come this winter. Now I had to rely on vobbly stuff to put the camera on

sky shots

ist image taken several nights ago as t-storm moved in (fla) other shot was from moument valley trip in may......some very impressive images amongst this group;
nice shooting everyone !!

Nice shots Melander. Apparently the cloud in the 1st shot is a bit of a phenomenon that doesnt happen too often (I was watching a science program the other day about this) It kinda looks like inverted ripples on water.
