Nature Bath Time

I mowed the grass, cleaned the bird bath and refilled it and waited...

Starlings? We have the European Starlings here but I've never seen that many in my bird bath at one time. Nice shots. I love taking photos of the birds here taking a bath, they can get pretty comical at times. TFS, Kevin.

It was empty, once I refilled it a whole flock of them turned up and of course my camera was in a bag. They emptied it again so I refilled it and put the camera on a tripod, in manual and pre-focused. I thought I would do this with interval timer but messed up along the way, so these were finger on the button each time, and had to wait some time for them to return. Worth it though.

Neither am I but their breast color is the same as our starlings the only difference is the back and head color of yours. Ours are blackish/blue colors. Pete-tarmigan would know for sure.
