Love this picture.

Curious about the process, what was the reason for taking them as verticals and stitching. Did it help here or was it to avoid having to use a wide angle lens?

Most of my work has been printed very large. So one frame does not give enough pixels.
This one is 8 vertical frames in panorama @17mm lens.

Fantastic !
The colors are superbs !
I had not seen it was a long shutter until I saw the stars.
I like it very much !
