A great combo, but good technique and a steady hand play a big part

I don't think I have ever seen a hand held macro shot like those and get them tack sharp.

Great capture and technique!

Love the clarity and sharpness along with the colors.

For my type of shooting, a tripod just doesn't work. With these bees, they flit here and there so quickly, that I'd miss a tremendous amount of shots, if using a tripod. That's just me, hand holding is much easier for me.

I love these little bees; they never bother me while I'm getting up close to them, and they are so beautifully colored.
