from my fishing trip
Posted By: little laker, 10-01-2006, 10:01 PM

Don't be suprised if I add several more pic's in the next few days, since I just got in and haven't had much time to sort through the 496 photo's that I took.

I think that you'll like these pictures as a little bit of a teaser

I'll get this one made into a poster to remind me of the trip during those cold winter nights starting soon

And I just like this picture, I really don't know why since nothing really looks special to me

one of the sunrises

a sunset

and 10 points for the first person that guesses what this is

just some more pictures

As you can tell the weather was almost perfect there, and all of us really enjoyed every moment of the trip.

You'll see all my pictures there, but here's a thread on a fishing forum about the trip. (more pictures as well, I'm still little laker)

Stu,
Your shots never cease to amaze me. They are all great shots, and should be framed. The colors in the sunsets are fantastic.

I have only one problem, with one picture and YOU BLEW IT. Your squirl is out of focus Your focus point was about 1" to high.

You do an excelent job and I sure would like to be able to get together with you some time for fishing and photography. I know I would find it very enjoyable.

Good shooting.

I'll echo Dave - these are all very good (except the Squirrell as noted).

I like the foggy ones the best.

Nice photos. Great colours. The only thing I would do is to straighten a few of them. The guy with the floattube is slowly floating out of my screen . I have one serious question. Where are the photos of the fish?

Cheers

Thanks for the compliments, and yes 2 of them are in the photo shop getting made into 36" x 24" photo's. I've never had such large prints made up so I'm really hoping that they turn out.

mingdie, I can't really straighten them up, the camera was level at the time but you know shore lines. They're never consistant I see that the boat in the foggy picture isn't level so I messed up there

However you guys are right about the squirl, and I thought that it might not turn out.....
So............. I took 3 at once hoping that I would get lucky with at least 1.
Here's the other 2, and the top 1 is 1 of the pictures getting blown up.

I'd love to meet you and go fishing as well, Photo Tramp however we live at opposite ends of the continent and my budget won't allow it for a while

If you are heading to BC, or even Alberta Canada for a break anyways I'd be more than happy to show you some unbelieveable sights.

The memories that brings back...

Hi!

Those are quite lovely! I like the squirrel photos, even though they are out of focus, because of the little branch that he's perched upon. Incredible that it is holding him! The sunsets/sunrise pictures are my favorites, especially the one with the boat spray/fog(?).

I think for right now My friend we are in the same boat (no punn intended) but by next summer who knows. I just may be able to take a couple of days and get up there. We'll see how the plant is opperating by then.

Good Shooting.
